Brian Cavoto is currently expanding his advisory role to providing direct client services, applying his years of experience and expertise in research and analytics.  Prior to joining the Noise Doctors full-time, Brian was the head of the Portland, OR office of YouGov America, a London based company that acquired Definitive Insights, a company Brian co-founded in 2009.  The Portland hub has approximately 20 employees, with the mission of providing a hybrid offering that combines market research, consulting/industry knowledge, and business intelligence under a single roof. Previously he was a Senior Partner at Momentum Market Intelligence, based in Portland, OR. Brian headed up one of the technology-focused teams, providing consulting services to clients such as Microsoft, Avaya, Nokia, and T-Mobile. Prior to that, Brian headed up the Research & Analytics group at Harte-Hanks Market Intelligence in San Diego. There he led a team who conducted custom analytics and primary research for many of the largest IT and telecommunications companies in the world. He worked with clients such as Microsoft, Avaya, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, HP, and Intel. Prior to Harte-Hanks, Brian worked for a start-up company in Boston called DiscoverWhy where he helped launch a new software application for conducting research over the Internet using streaming video. Brian also worked as a statistical consultant for SPSS, where he provided statistical and methodological consulting to clients in a wide array of industries. Brian started his career working in academia in the Boston area, where he taught classes in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and published articles in several leading academic journals. Brian earned his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Tufts University, and his bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.

Kim is currently the primary manager of The Noise Doctors, running the day to day operations, including client services, marketing, and business administration.  She has been heading up the business since its inception in 2004, and is hoping to grow it over the next five years, capitalizing on the word of mouth recommendations from clients.  Kim has over 20 years of experience applying and integrating solid research design with sophisticated statistical analytics for many clients across a variety of different industries, including, but not limited to, Cisco, Firethorn, San Diego State University, Media Insights, and Apex Entertainment. In addition to her experience as a researcher and data analyst, Kim has taught college level statistics and, after 13 years, continues to be a statistical trainer for IBM/SPSS, a top statistical software company. Kim did her undergraduate work at the University of California, Irvine, and has a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Tufts University.
